Trenia Cooper

Trenia Latrell Cooper is a licensed social worker and member of the Care Team, providing resources and support to students as they navigate personal and academic challenges while pursuing their degrees. She is a certified Mental Health First Aid Educator with 15 years of experience in child welfare, having served at Methodist Children’s Home. Trenia is deeply passionate about supporting marginalized students, particularly those experiencing food insecurity, financial hardship, and housing instability. She approaches her work as a change agent and source of hope, serving as an advocate, mediator, and steady presence during times of crisis. Outside of her professional role, Trenia enjoys singing, watching documentaries, and spending time with her daughter.
