Hayley Thomas

Hayley Thomas serves as the Assistant Director for Well-Being Initiatives in the Department of Student Care and Well-Being, where she leads strategic, peer-centered wellness education grounded in the 9 dimensions of wellness. She oversees the Peer Health Educator and Well-Being Ambassador programs, designing structured curriculum, partnerships, and initiatives that advance holistic student development. With a background in Exercise Physiology and a master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration, Hayley brings both evidence-based practice and relational leadership to her work. Her professional journey at Baylor includes serving as a Residence Hall Director and as the Recovery Program Manager for the BARC: Collegiate Recovery Community, experiences that deeply shaped her commitment to student well-being. Hayley is passionate about transformational mentorship and creating spaces where students feel empowered to live authentically and thrive. Hayley enjoys watching and listening to true crime docs and podcasts, she also loves pickle ball and though not skilled is deeply committed.
